Over 5,000 Students to Graduate from Phoenix Union High Schools, May 21-23

PHOENIX UNION—The Phoenix Union High School District Class of 2019, consisting of an estimated 5,278 students from 16 schools, will graduate over three days, May 21-23. It is the second-largest class ever and the fourth consecutive year of over 5,000 graduates.

For the tenth consecutive year, all 11 large schools will hold graduations at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum, but the ceremonies will span three days, instead of two, beginning Tuesday, May 21 with two ceremonies-- Camelback at 5:30 p.m. and Central at 8 p.m. There are four ceremonies on tap for Wednesday, May 22, beginning at 1 p.m. and a full day of five on Thursday, May 23, from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. when Metro Tech conducts the final commencement exercise. Four small schools will graduate at Phoenix College’s Bulpitt Auditorium, Tuesday, May 21, and another on Wednesday May 22 at Central High full press release here.
