STUDENT SUCCESS: In mid June, Bioscience students Karelly Hernandez Gaitan, Victor Suarez-Gonzalez, Pedro Cabrera , Maryan Robledo , Alyssa Cortez, Jawed Nur, Diego Ruiz (Metro Tech), Jasmine Martinez Castillo, Molly Moody, Johan Andrade, Fabian Chavez, and Ian Westover traveled to Chicago to attend the Photovoltaic Specialists Conference (PVSC). This is an international conference on photovoltaics and solar energy sponsored by the International Electrical and Electronics Engineers Society (IEEE). These students participated in the high school research competition and shared their own ongoing research during a poster session on June 17th.
