Principal Lorenzo Cabrera addresses the students of Franklin every day.  During the second week of school, he asked the students what they would do if they found $100.  It was a character question, and Cabrera was impressed with the answers.  Then he told the students that a Franklin student, a junior named Kevin Flores, had found a $100 bill on the floor in class, and turned it in.  Another Franklin student had brought the money and she was supposed to deposit in the bank that day for her family.   Flores was given a $30 gift certificate, and the admiration of all, including Cabrera, who summed it up by saying “This is what Franklin is all about.”
