KJZZ's Youth Media Center (a collaboration of Phoenix Union High School District, KJZZ, and Maricopa Community College) is now accepting applications for its after-school program that will begin on September 10.  Spot 127 is a free program for high school students that provides instruction and mentoring in journalism, photography, and audio/video production. Participants will have the opportunity to create original content that will be pitched to local and national media outlets while learning from professional journalists and industry experts. Students who are interested will be asked to commit to attending Spot 127 two days a week from 3:15-6:15 p.m. from September through May. Space is limited to 40 students, and spots are filling up fast.  To apply or for more information, please go to Spot127.org.
