The Eighth Annual Senior Portfolio Show will be held, Thursday, April 19  from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This is the school’s annual celebration of student achievement where all seniors exhibit their best academic, extracurricular, and community service accomplishments. A primary goal of the Senior Portfolio Show is to expose graduating students to many entities—business, higher education, community organizations, and neighboring schools and districts.  The show is huge, spanning the gymnasiums and cafeteria, and attracting thousands of parents, students and community members.

“Many times in high school only the star athletes or musicians or honor students have the opportunity to “shine” publicly. The Senior Portfolio Show lets every single student “shine” for one special night and lets thousands of people ask them about their interests, plans and accomplishments,” Spanish teacher and Portfolio Night organizer Susan Soto said.   “The families, friends, even entire neighborhoods, former principals, pastors, and coaches are able to take pride publically in their young people and their accomplishments.”
