Edgar Robles and Christian Escobar teamed up and took second place in the National Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Virtual Business Management game.  The duo competed against 287 High School teams from 28 states across the country.  The on-line contest, sponsored by Knowledge Matters LLC, is presented every year to help teach high school students entrepreneurship, management, and supervision.  Students use Virtual Business software to experience the virtual management of a warehouse distribution center.  Students must incorporate a variety of decision making strategies and be quick with scheduling, planning, organizing, and financing of their business.  This year’s Virtual Business Management contest was played from February 2-March 2.  Robles and Escobar, under the nickname “RET” jumped into first place early in the month-long contest and maintained their nationwide lead until moments before the contest closed. They finished second in the nation and earned a trip to FBLA nationals this year in June.
