The Greater Phoenix Choir Festival is a two-day event bringing together top singers from junior high schools and Phoenix Union schools.  The students audition to earn a spot in these all-star choirs, led by guest conductors.  After a day and a half of rehearsal, the musicians take the stage for  a concert.  This year the festival is hosted by Trevor Browne High School, with the culminating concert, Saturday, October 27 at 3:30 p.m.    Maryvale’s choir teacher Amanda Taylor will lead the Junior High Honors Choir.  Also performing will be the Greater Phoenix Women’s Honor Choir and the Mixed Honor Choir.
