Betty Fairfax: Basketball boys and girls

It has been a good year for Betty Fairfax Basketball, boys and girls.  The girls team posted a 20-3 overall record, and 10-0 mark in the Union Region.  They beat Lake Havasu in a play-in game, February 9 and opened 5A state tournament play at Marana, February 14. The Boys also won the region, with a 8-2 record, 15-4 overall, and beat Verrado in a play-in game, advancing to the first round or the tournament at Chaparral, February 15.


The boys team captured many Union Region honors, including Player of the Year Vincson Landrum and Coach of the Year, Josh Wray.  Landrum, Jordan Louis and Donavan Regan were 1st Team All-Region, and Ethan Nelson and Khyri Marshall were 2nd Team All-Region.
