The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Chase Bank presented a check for $100,000 to provide equipment to Phoenix Union High School baseball and softball teams as part of a new program titled "Chase Your Dreams," May 8 at Chase Field in a pre-game ceremony. Members of the high school baseball teams were invited to the game, and came onto the field for the recognition. The program is a $300,000 commitment from Chase and the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation to revitalize high school baseball and softball programs in Arizona. In 2015, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Chase will work with the first 10 high schools, selected from the Phoenix Union High School District, to launch the charitable program. Working alongside Superintendent Dr. Kent Scribner and Athletic Director Dr. Zachary Munoz, the D-backs and Chase will provide each school with financial support, equipment and supplies, facility improvements, coaches training, athlete training, field maintenance training and fun baseball experiences designed to increase their level of commitment and engagement.

The program began a few days before Opening Day, when the team and Chase came to a Carl Hayden-Maryvale game to deliver bats, balls, catchers gear, gloves, equipment bags, and basic field maintenance items before their game to kick off the "Chase Your Dreams" program.
