Approximately 200 students who have participated in a financial literacy program will receive a completion certification, April 29. The online learning course, developed by EverFi, and sponsored by Washington Federal, covers such topics such as saving, investing, and financing higher education. These online resources were provided to the school at no cost due to the sponsorship by Washington Federal. Business Department Instructional Leader Jeffrey Howard encouraged all Career and Technical Education teachers to implement the financial literacy program to all sophomores in their Metro Career Connections class with the goal of producing financially literate citizens before leaving high school.
