Trevor G. Browne Thespians are taking on the famous movie, “Stand and Deliver” for their fall performance. This show is about a high school math teacher, Jaime Escalante, who comes into an East Los Angeles high school, and challenges the kids to take the Advanced Placement test. With hours of work, the students pass the test, but are challenged by testing coordinators for accusations of cheating.

“We are hoping for our largest audience yet. The famous 1988 movie is a story that many of our students, parents, and faculty really look up to,” theatre instructor Megan Dallas said.
Show dates are Thursday, September 25 at 4 p.m. ($1 slice of pizza before the show), Friday, September 26 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, September 27 at 1:30 p.m.  Tickets are $3 pre-sale, and $5 at the door.
