Central’s JROTC program has a new stand-alone facility, which opened this school year. The facility, designed and built by Architechnology and Chasse Construction as part of the 2011 Bond program, is located next to the football stadium at the far east end of campus. It features a large classroom, and an indoor rifle range, with observation area, an office, trophy case and storage rooms. There will also be an obstacle course added this fall. Central’s JROTC has about 150 student cadets.
