Bioscience Robotics Show Strong at FIRST Robotics Competition

The Bioscience Dragon Robotics had a strong showing in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Arizona Regionals, March 20-22.  The team finished 15th out of 49 teams in preliminary matches with a 6-4 match record, and advanced to the semifinals.  They teamed with Vail High School and Tempe Union Schools to knock out the second-seeded alliance in the quarterfinals.   Their robot, “Maleficent” was the second-highest scorer in autonomous points after Carl Hayden.
