Betty Fairfax Students Awarded Top Scholarship Dollars

Cheyanne Tietje was one of five Phoenix Union students that were awarded the top scholarship of $8,000 ($2,000 over four years) from the Phoenix Foundation for Education.   The following students received Department Outstanding Student Awards and $100 scholarships: Gelila Tsefu, AVID; Dominique Ceballos, Reading; Doenisha Jackson, JROTC; Abbie Haynie, Math; Dillon Moffett, Performing Arts; Kathleen Sem, Engineering; Aimee Wilson, Business; Daniel Diaz-Ortega, PE/Health; Stephanie Arellano, English; Marisa Contreres, Science; Ninju Mathew, Library; Carmela Sanchez, Social Studies and Anthony Marroquin, World Languages.

 

 

Senior College and Career Presentation Scholarships were Nook readers, given to  Melissa Trout, Natural Resources; Dina Sandoval, Business; Bryantee Williams, Engineering; Danielle Bailey, Health Services; Ty Wooley, Art; and Chris Moreno, Human Resources.
