PUHSD Hosts 15 Graduation Ceremonies

Fifteen graduation ceremonies will take place today (May 22) and Thursday, as over 4400 seniors receive their high school diplomas.  Eleven large schools will take turns at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum, in a graduation blitz that runs from 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until 10 p.m. Thursday evening.   Wednesday there are five ceremonies at the Coliseum-Central at 10:30 a.m.; Camelback at 1 p.m.; North at 3:30 p.m.; South Mountain at 6 p.m. and Betty Fairfax ending the day at 8:30 p.m.   Thursday six schools will take the stage, beginning with Metro Tech at 8 a.m., and followed by Maryvale, 10:30 a.m.; Alhambra, 1 p.m.; Trevor Browne, 3:30 p.m.; Carl Hayden, 6 p.m. and Cesar Chavez, 8:30 p.m.   

Suns Diamondbacks will hold its graduation, Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Central High’s auditorium, and Bostrom will go at 6 p.m. at Trevor Browne’ auditorium.  Thursday, the Herberger Theater will be the site for Franklin Police and Fire’s commencement at 4:30 p.m. and Bioscience at 6:30 p.m.
