NASA Scientist Visited Alhambra Students

NASA scientist Dr. Liz Wallace visited students at Alhambra, February 27 as part of the NASA Johnson Space Center’s Destination Station tour, promoting space station science and research awareness.  She is an expert on the effects of spaceflight on the human body.    She provided information about Earth science research aboard the International Space Station, and the space station history.  The space station, through earth images, has assisted natural disaster prediction and relief, and coral reefs management important to the fishing industry.  Warren also talked to the students about STEM education and future careers.
