Trevor Browne JROTC Succeeds in Competition

The Bruins’ JROTC unit competed in an all skills meet in Farmington, NM, February 1-2 against    18 teams from Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona.  The Unarmed Team took 2nd place Overall, and 2nd in Inspection, 2nd place in Exhibition, 3rd place in Regulation and 2nd in Color Guard. The mixed Color Guard team came in 2nd place with only a few practices under their belt. One of the newest members in JROTC Anthony Lopez was the awarded “Fastest Man,” as he won the mile run. Lopez also took an individual trophy for the last man standing during a drill competition of all schools. The Trevor Browne Rifle Team finished 2nd overall, competing against 35 teams.  Alan Soto finished as the number two shooter in the match earning three individual medals for his performance.
