Phoenix Union Scholarship Gala to Take Place Feb. 8

The 5th Annual Phoenix Union Scholarship Gala takes place February 8 at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown.  The event, put on by the Phoenix Union Foundation for Education, raises post-secondary scholarship funds for Phoenix Union students.  This year’s gala will honor Sue Glawe of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona as the 2013 Friend of Phoenix Union, and Congressman Ed Pastor, a former North High science teacher as the Alumni Hall of Fame inductee.  Phoenix Union students will be well represented, from performing arts groups, JROTC and student artwork available.  A table for 10 begins at $1500 and individual tickets are $150.  A reception and silent auction begins at 6 p.m. and the dinner program is at 7 p.m.
