Over 150 Phoenix Union employees attended the annual Employee Appreciation Reception, November 1 at Metro Tech’s banquet room.  The event recognizes those employees celebrating 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and more years of service.  The honored guests were Claire Hurlburt, and English and ELL teacher at Maryvale, who has worked with the District for 40 years, and Dusty Lovelady, an alarm technician who has been with PUHSD for 35 years.  Employees received service pins, certificates and plaques.  Superintendent Kent Scribner and governing board members Lela Alston and Ben Miranda presented the awards.  The event was made possible by donations from Logicalis, RBC Capital Markets and Stone and Youngberg.
