The chess team traveled to Flagstaff over the weekend for the state-wide individual invitational.
Congratulations Mya Dominguez, who won the under 500 section out of a field of 56 players!
The girls golf team has a game today against Metro Tech and Maryvale. We want to wish them good luck!
If you signed up to donate Blood, it is important that you turn in your permission slip as soon as possible so we can put you on the schedule. Please bring the permission slip to room 7017. Thank you.
Want to show how diverse Alhambra is? Come join the international club! We have our meetings every Wednesday during 5th lunch. We do loads of exciting projects and trips. Come and join the fun. We will have pizza available to anyone who joins us on Wednesday in room 7012 during 5th lunch.
Alhambra’s Pride Alliance, formerly known as GSA, is looking for new members! Want a place to hang out and make new friends? Need support or have questions about the LGBTQ+ community in Phoenix? Our first meeting will be on Thursday!
We will meet in room 3012 at 3:30 pm and light refreshments will be provided. Bring a friend!
Alhambra is inviting all interested students to attend the GCU Learning Lounge on Monday – Thursday from 3:15-5:30pm.Transportation will be provided on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in attending, please come by the Office of Instruction to SIGN-UP, and to pick up a parent permission slip and the GCU Learning Lounge application. Remember, transportation will be provided on a first come first serve basis each day to the first 30-40 students that sign-up. Students are also invited to walk to GCU to attend the GCU Learning lounge. Transportation to the lounge starts today at 3:15pm.
LIONS FOR PEACE will have their first meeting on Monday, October 1st at 3:10pm. Please bring with you ideas for the club! All students are Welcome! Meeting will be in Ms. Gardner’s room 7110.

Attention teachers and students are you interested in getting your food-handlers card? Well you are in luck we are offering a session on October 4th from 3:30 to 5:00 in Mr. Filerio's classroom 1122. Please bring a debit or credit card, the cost is only $10.
Attention Juniors - the PSAT will be given October 24th in the lecture hall.
All juniors who are planning on attending college and are interested in taking the PSAT can sign up in the bookstore! The cost is $16.00 and the deadline to sign up is October 3rd. All students who sign up will receive a study guide. There are only 75 seats available so it is on a first come first serve basis. Please see Mr. Parker in counseling if you have any questions.
Lions! Any and all outstanding fees and debts must be paid by Friday, October 5th at the bookstore.

The Marines are visiting our campus today during lunch.
They will be set up by the cafeteria so you can visit their table.
