Ms. Heidi Wright, M.Ed.

Heidi Wright is an experienced international K-12 educator. 

Raised in the Phoenix-area, Ms. Wright has been passionate about education and the Arts from very early on. After graduating from high school, Ms. Wright returned to her alma mater as the Assistant Dance Director while pursuing her degree at Arizona State University. 

While at ASU, Ms. Wright focused her studies on diversity in education and cultural geography and applied these concepts to her coursework by educating her students on the relationship between dance and culture. Ms. Wright holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Educational Diversity & Cultural Geography with a Minor in Dance. 

Ms. Wright returned to ASU and graduated a year later with a Master's in Education for Curriculum & Instruction in Secondary Education. 

Continuing on her path to discover diversity in education, Ms. Wright ventured to teach overseas in South Korea where she worked for two years. 

After returning to the United States, Ms. Wright started a dance program at Tolleson Union High School in Tolleson, Arizona where she taught for 4 years.

In 2019, Ms. Wright completed her second master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration through Grand Canyon University. 

Now in her third year as the Director of Dance at Camelback High School, Ms. Wright has rebuilt the program and let the Varsity Dance Team she created, Camelback Elite Dance Company, to the National Dance Team Championship for the first time in Phoenix Union-history in Februrary 2019. They qualified for the National Championship again for 2020.
