I have been teaching within Phoenix Union High School District for the past five years. I am one of the founding teachers of Phoenix Coding Academy and I currently teach varying levels of math and our 9th grade science course, Foundations of Scientific Inquiry. I previously taught at Maryvale High School for three years teaching mathematics. I believe all students should have access to high quality education that fits their specific needs. I also am an adjunct faculty member at Chandler Gilbert Community College teaching Biology 181.
I have a 5 year old son, Bryson, who keeps me busy when I'm not teaching. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Alabama State University and my Masters in Secondary Education from University of Phoenix. I am currently in the process of receiving my Masters in Integrative Biosciences from Tuskegee University. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to all of the exciting adventures that this year brings with my students.
