Your Alhambra wrestling team made a splash in their home opener by dominating South Mountain 58-9!

And while they fought hard against Trevor Browne, came up short 36-42.

The star of the evening was Junior Kezla Smith, a member of Alhambra's first-ever girls wrestling team,

who dominated both of her opponents and pinned both of them in the first round.

The Lions will be competing again next Wednesday to take on Maryvale, so come on out and show your support!

The Lady Lions Soccer team traveled to Deer Valley to play hosts Deer Valley and Valley Vista in our pre season tournament. The lady Lions beat Deer Valley by a score of 4-2.

Livana Medina led the ladies with a hat trick, and Ester Ronces blocked a valuable penalty shot.

The Lions also beat Valley Vista in penalty shots 4-1, with Ester again saving the day with 2 blocked penalties.

Way to go to the entire team for staying composed through everything.
