    Here are your daily announcements for Thursday November 15th, 2018.


    Today's weather report— It‘s a sunny day today and is going to get up to 67 degrees.

    It is going to cool down to about 44 degrees tonight.


    All you wrestlers, girls too, wrestling season has started!

    There will be practice every day after school at 3:30 in the wrestling room!


    The Girls’ Varsity Soccer team will also be hosting Cortez High School on Monday, November 19th, here, at Alhambra, at 5:00pm. The concession stand will be serving pizza from Angie’s and Jimmie’s for $2.00/slice.

    Come support our girls!


    Attention all Alhambra AVID students and anyone else interested in college! Come join the AVID club and have a good time. Meetings will be held every Monday after school at 3:15 in room 3012. Come get involved with future fundraising for college visits and reps from community colleges and our dream Universities! Help with cool apparel! Not only that, you can be eligible to receive Alhambra AVID -funded scholarships! Who wouldn't like that! Remember, meetings are Monday after school in room 3012. See you there!


    All girls at Alhambra be a part of Girls Can Code club! If you are interested in computers and stuff, then this is a club for you. We meet on Mondays after school in room 4008.

    The next Be A Leader Club meeting will be on Wednesday, November 21st. We will be talking about spring events. See you right after school on Wednesday in room 3001!


    Thank you Alhambra faculty and students for your wonderful support in raising personal care items for the boys’ orphanage in Hermosillo. A special thank you to Mr. Kunz’s Advisory for raising the most personal care items for the boys.

    The boys and National Honor Society Give a huge shout out of Lion Pride for a successful personal care items drive for the orphanage.


    It’s a holiday diaper drive. The diapers benefiting Caring for Kids Supporting AZ Helping Hands! We would like to encourage some friendly competition among all advisory classes so the advisory class with the most diapers collected by December 16th will win a pizza party when we return from winter break. 

    Talk to your advisory teacher if you have any questions.


    Would a hot spot our cell phone help you with your studies?  We have roughly 40 cell phones and 20 hot spots available for students at no charge open to all grade levels!  Applications are available in counseling. 

    Be the first to complete the application as supplies are limited!


    The bookstore wants to remind you that all outstanding fines are due by November 21st.

    Again all outstanding fees and debts are due November 21st.


    There is a completion lab on Saturday from 8:00 am until 11:00 am. Catch up on your work, raise your grade, get a head so you aren’t stressing out for the holiday season. So go to the completion lab on Saturday where there are teachers there to help you.
