    Social Services and Support
     
     

     Social services are available to students whose problems interfere with their learning and/or place them at risk of dropping out of school. Social services provided at Cesar Chavez High School include but are not limited to:

     

                 Case management

                 Individual, family, and group counseling

                 Crisis counseling

                 Mandated groups including Anger Management, Jumpstart, and ASAP/Insight 

                 Referral to community and school resources for obtaining food, clothing, shelter, medical, dental,
                   vision and behavioral health services.

                 Advocacy for youth and families

                 Teen pregnancy and parenting skills classes

                 Truancy prevention and juvenile offender diversion programs

                 Conflict resolution/mediation
