Welcome to my little corner of North High! I've been teaching in the Phoenix Union High School District since 1989, instructing Phoenix's fine young minds in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Physical Science at the Maryvale, Trevor Browne and North campuses and enjoying every minute of it (well, almost every minute...). My approach to education is summed up by the experimentally supported Chinese Proverb
"Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand"
The result is classes that are fun, challenging and, I hope, occasionally enlightening. We live in a time where technology has made memorizing content obsolete, but critically processing information more important than ever; our future literally depends on teaching students how to think, not what. Guided by this belief, and sustained by the enthusiasm of my students, I've made it my goal to improve all of our lives through education.

You can find me in Room S-21. Stop by any time, my door is always open. Well, from 7:30 - 3:30 Monday through Friday, anyway.
