Alhambra Principal Karen Cardenasis moving to the District office for a director-level position for the 2019-20 school year.  Selection for a new Alhambra principal will include a Principal Community Forum, Tuesday, April 23 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with the five finalists. Parents, students, staff and community members are welcome to attend, ask questions and meet the candidates. The attendees will also have the opportunity to submit their comments to the superintendent before a decision is made. The forum will be held in the auditorium.


    Welcome to Lion country!  Alhambra offers Honors, AP and college credit (dual enrollment) courses as well as competitive sports, music, dance, drama and JROTC. Being a part of the Medical Magnet means a chance to prepare to become an athletic trainer or therapist as well as take courses for other medical professions while in high school. Special business programs help prepare students for jobs in Sports and Entertainment Marketing, Accounting or Computer Applications. The 4-year Business AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) program give “Lions” a way to get ready-to-use job skills as well as the extra instruction and tutoring for college.
