I am originally from Syracuse, NY. I began studying dance and gymnastics at age 3. I had extensive training in ballet, jazz, tap, and gymnastics through my high school years. I studied ballet and modern dance at William Smith University in Geneva, NY where I received a Bachelor of Arts in both Dance and European history in 2004, as well as the Janet Seeley Award for Excellence in Dance. I received my Master of Fine Arts in Dance at Arizona State University in 2007. I joined the faculty at South Mountain High School in 2007. My husband Brandon and I live here in the valley with our daughter Lauren and our dog Ginger.
