• Good Morning Alhambra!

Here are your daily announcements for Thursday, December 12th 2019

       Today's weather report—

It‘s a partly cloudy day today and is going to get up to about 68 degrees.

It is going to cool down to about 47 degrees tonight.

Each month, JROTC leaders conduct a formal interview to select the JROTC cadet of the month.

The winner for this month is Roland Wylie.  Congratulations to this outstanding freshman cadet!

Last night the wrestling put up a fight, but fell short of Maryvale 36-42.

The highlight of the night came from senior Jesus Loya, who went into his match aggressively and pinned his opponent in less than 20 seconds!

This weekend, your Alhambra wrestling team will head to Skyline High School for the Coyote Open.

Varsity will wrestle on Friday, and JV and Girls will wrestle on Saturday.

Please come out and support your Lions.  If you are unable to attend, you can follow the action at trackwrestling.com.

The boys Freshman soccer team has a home game today against Camelback.

The game starts at 6:00 pm, so come on out to cheer them on!

The girls Freshman soccer team also has a home game against Camelback.

Their game starts after school at 4:00.

    Let's go Lions!

There will be Track Practice today after school on the North Side of the football field @3:30 led by Coach Davis.

Attention wrestlers, please report to the wrestling room at 3:45pm.

There will be no study hall today. Again, please report dressed and ready to go at 3:45pm.

This Friday from 5:00-6:00pm we will be tailgating for the girls soccer game!

Come bring your family and friends to buy snacks and support your lady lions as they play San Luis high school!

Attention to all girls interested in playing tennis in the spring.

There will be a short informational meeting this Friday in room 2017 from 3:00-3:30 to get a list of students who plan on trying out for tennis in January.

    See you there!

Powderpuff practice this Saturday will be canceled, but stay tuned for updates on practices in January.
