    Mr. Smith is in his 16th year of teaching in the Law Magnet Program at the Academies @ South Mountain.  He is an avid sports fan, supporting the Arizona Coyotes, Washington Redskins, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, Baltimore Orioles and Arizona State Sun Devils.  He is not a fan of bandwagon fans, but even they might be better than UofA, New York Yankee and Dallas Cowboy fans!!  Mr. Smith and his wife Patti (A professional photographer) have two sons Kaden (15 years old) and Conor (11 years old).  Both Kaden and Conor are youth hockey players. 
     
    Mr. Smith is located in Room M-173 and currently teaches periods 1,2,3,4 and 7 in that room.  Mr. Smith's 8th Period Advanced Trail Procedures is located in the Law Center.  As part of the Law Magnet, he runs the Moot Court Program and the Mock Trial teams.  In addition, Mr. Smith currently serves as the Program Manager and Instructional Leader for the Law Magnet.
