Prepare yourself for college, earn college credit --- Cesar Chavez High School offers a range of AP (Advanced Placement) courses to students. Through college-level AP courses, students will enter a universe of knowledge that might otherwise remain unexplored in high school; through AP courses, they will earn college credits while still in high school.
AP courses are challenging, but they really prepare students for college by sharpening their writing, research and reasoning skills, developing the study habits necessary for tackling rigorous course work and broadening their intellectual horizons. Students who take the AP courses will gain the edge in college preparation, get a head start on college-level work and be able to study subjects in greater depth and detail at college.
