    Raider Team
    North's JROTC Raider Team performed with excellence at the physical fitness competition held at Maryvale High School. On September 19th, the team competed against 17 schools from around the entire state of Arizona and received trophies in 1 out of the 5 events. 
    JPA Inspection 
    North's JROTC program underwent a rigorous annual accreditation inspection by a team of Texan army personnel.The inspection consisted of 7 categories and North High JROTC scored a 96.5% overall. Not only do we retain pride in our title of honor unit with distinction, but we also scored the highest in the district for the sixth consecutive year. Please congratulate all North High JROTC cadets for their exceptional performance when you see them for once again making North number 1 in their hearts.
    Academic Bowl Team 
    The JROTC Academic Bowl Team took the round one test on November 10th consisting of 5 different categories of language, verbal and comprehension, math, science, current events, and JROTC curriculum.Academic Bowl team members are Jennifer Brock, Mario Castillo, Eli Carreon, Melissa Gonzales, Brittany Celaya, and Fabian Luna. The members scored well and will move on to the round 2 test in February 2018. Congratulate the Academic Bowl team for their accomplishment.
    Rifle Team 
    The Mustang Rifle Team finished 2nd place with a 10-1 record in the District Fall Rifle League AND 2nd place at the District Rifle Tournament on December 12th. Team members include: seniors Solomon Mathews and Jennifer Dominguez, Sophmore Jacob Kronlund, and Matthew Pearson. This finish qualifies the team for the State Championships in January 2019. Congratulate the team for a job well done, and congratulate all JROTC cadets because your Mustang JROTC Battalion continues to excel and lead the way here at North.
