• Nursing Assistant

    This course is for students who want to prepare for employment in the healthcare industry, specifically Nursing Services, while gaining valuable information to be successful in any health care core competencies covering the following areas: anatomy, physiology and associated pathology, medical terminology, oral and written communication, health care delivery systems, employability, legal and ethical responsibilities, safety and teamwork. Students gain valuable leadership and employment skills and receive opportunities for scholarships and community involvement by participating in Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), a state and national career and technical student organization.

    • Certifications in First Aid and CPR
