Auto Tech

Trevor Browne took three teams of two students each to an Automotive Technologies competition held at Universal Technical Institute in Avondale, February 11.   The contest included four hands-on stations (Brakes, Diagnostic Scan Tools, Electrical, Parts Identification) followed by a 50-question test on all areas of Automotive Technologies. A total of 26 teams competed from various automotive programs in Arizona. The top ten teams were awarded scholarships.  The team of Kevin Hernandez and Sergio Valdez finished 9th and received $1,000 scholarships.
