Application Process for Incoming Students

The Phoenix Coding Academy (PCA) application process has been designed to ensure that potential students and families understand our program and are committed to college and career preparation. Only completed applications will be reviewed and considered for admission to PCA. There will be approximately 100 available spots for 9th grade students. Availability for 10th grade transfer students will depend on enrollment capacity. Eligibility for admission is based on a scored rubric. If there are more qualified applicants than spaces available, a lottery will be used to select students for enrollment. After a lottery, a wait list will be maintained for qualified applicants in the event that openings in enrollment occur and a lottery will again be used to fill any potential openings. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission or a guarantee placement on the wait list at PCA.
