Entrepreneurship
This course is designed to provide an introduction to the process of turning an idea into a successful start-up business. A primary focus is for the student to explore the potential of and the process for being a successful entrepreneur. The course introduces the student to the processes for creating a potentially successful business plan. Students will also understand the social and economic responsibilities of those engaged in a competitive economic system as it pertains to various areas of entrepreneurship. Students gain valuable leadership and employment skills and receive opportunities for scholarships and community involvement by participating in DECA, a state and national career and technical student organization.
